Welcome to Your Home – Designed Your Way
See. Touch. Design. Create.

The Southdown Experience is much more than just picking a model and elevation that works for your lifestyle. When choosing a Southdown home, you are part of the design process.

We make it easy to choose the elements and styles that will make your new home uniquely yours.

Product samples and displays in the Design Center display both classic designs and the latest trends. The Design Center experience allows you to see, touch, and compare the potential interior selections that will define the character of your home.

Kitchens

Mixed Cabinetry Colors

Mixed cabinetry offers you the best of both worlds. The sleek look of white cabinets with a pop of another accent color. These are often designed with white upper cabinets paired with a darker lower base cabinet. Popular Lower Cabinet Colors Include: black, gray, blue, and green. Also popular: Using one color for the perimeter cabinetry, and a different color for the center island.

Bathrooms

Decorative Tiles

Exciting pattern tiles can be anywhere and everywhere, especially in your bathroom. Decorate your whole shower, or accent a specific area. Decorative insets and uniquely tiled shower floors are currently trending. Brick set and hexagonal laying of tile on shower walls are another way clients are customizing their bathrooms.

Flooring

Natural Tones

Natural wood tones have been very popular, in recent months. Natural tones are easy to pair with other décor, and warm up any living space.

FAQs

How long does the design process take?

Typically we have two meetings that last two hours, followed up with email correspondence. We work with you until we create the ideal interior space for you and your family.

I am not seeing an option that fits my design ideas, do you have other options?

Absolutely! While many different options are displayed in the Design Center, it is impossible to show all available options. If you do not find something you like at the Design Center, most of our vendors welcome you to explore additional options at their location of business.

What if I make the wrong choice and want to change it later?

At Southdown Homes we want every homeowner to be ecstatic on their settlement day. When possible, and the construction timeline permits, we will try to accommodate requested changes and additions.

How should I prepare for the design center appointments?

We have digital Look Books and photographs of interior selections in existing homes, to provide inspiration. Websites like Pinterest can also help in getting the creative juices flowing!
